Directional DVB-T/T2 HEVC antenna for receiving terrestrial television, allowing reception of MUX 8.
The professional directional antenna MCTV-855A is equipped with an LTE filter that eliminates interference from mobile networks providing high-speed internet in the 800 MHz band.
In recent years, several thousand stations have already been established in Poland supporting the LTE standard in the 800 MHz band. The end of the TV band is in close proximity to the LTE 800 MHz band. This may result in interference with the reception of digital terrestrial television. The image on the TV screen may freeze, colorful stripes and squares may appear.
The MCTV-855A antenna, thanks to the use of the LTE filter, cuts off unwanted signals above 790 MHz, and thus is resistant to the previously described interference from LTE networks.
The antenna is equipped with an additional dipole, which allows for the reception of VHF channels, enabling reception in the range of 170-230 MHz, allowing for the reception of MUX 8, where new programs and digital radio DAB+ are broadcast.
