Bricks tank t34 76 model 1941 42 852 pieces - description

The T-34 tank, one of the most important tanks in history. It was developed by the Soviet Union in the interwar period and played a key role in World War II.
The brick model from COBI combines Soviet coarseness with the architectural craftsmanship of the designers. Thanks to this, the machine is durable and perfectly reflects the dimensions and shapes of the historical original. In addition, the tank has working tracked traction. The turret and barrel are movable. After removing the turret, you can look inside the vehicle. Under the service hatch we can place a brick model of the engine. The model has permanent prints imitating paint chips, equipment details and markings (Soviet and Polish to choose from).
The T-34/76 tank, also known simply as the T-34, is one of the most important tanks in history that played a key role in World War II. In the 1930s, Soviet engineers began working on a new medium tank to replace the older T-26 and BT-7 models. In 1939, prototypes designated A-20 and A-32 were created. The final model, the A-34, became the basis for serial production and was called the T-34. The T-34 prototypes underwent intensive testing, and in 1940 serial production began in Kharkov. The first models had the 76.2 mm L-11 gun, which was quickly replaced by the more effective F-34 gun.
The T-34 first entered combat during the German invasion of the Soviet Union in June 1941. Despite initial logistical and training problems, the T-34 proved to be extremely effective on the battlefield. Its sloped armor, good mobility, and powerful armament made it an opponent that German tanks had serious problems against. T-34 tanks also found a place in the 1st Warsaw Tank Regiment, which is part of the 1st Tadeusz Kościuszko Infantry Division. T-34 tanks with a white eagle painted on the turret fought, m.in at Lenino or on the Warka-Magnuszewski bridgehead.
