Brontosaurus
Brontosaurus is one of the most famous and beloved herbivorous dinosaurs of the Late Jurassic period. It has a long tail, a huge body, and a very thin, long neck. It probably measured 22 meters in length and weighed 15 tons!
Although the skeletons of Brontosaurus were found, scientists have never been able to find its skull. It is suspected that it had a small head similar to that of an Apatosaurus. The name brontosaurus means "thunder lizard" because scientists believed that it shot its tail like a whip.

Brontosaurus was most likely able to stand on its hind legs to get taller-growing plants.
