AUTOMATIC SQUELCH CONTROL
The station offers its users the automatic squelch ASQ function, which is most likely to be used in reception situations. On FM mode in a free channel, noise can be upsetting. With Squelch you can reduce this noise but at the same time signals that are too weak to receive properly.
