With the COBI building blocks, you can build a modern Challenger 2 tank. This model entered British service in 1998 and is still being developed. Tanks of this type are also used in Oman and Ukraine. The brick model was reproduced in 1:35 scale using 954 elements. The tank matches the size of the rest of the land vehicles released as part of the Armed Forces collection. Especially for this model, we have developed a new brick in the shape of a very characteristic barrel of the Challenger tank. Under the service hatch there is an engine modeled from blocks. The model includes moving parts such as wheels, tracks, a rotating turret and a gun. The hatch in the turret opens and the included tanker figure can be placed there. The figurine has two headgear (helmet + beret with the British emblem). The set includes two sets of markings to choose from. You can build this tank in either the Ukrainian or British version.
Designed by BAE Systems, the Challenger 2 is one of the heaviest and best-armored tanks in the world. Armed with a 120 mm main gun and machine guns, it is able to effectively destroy both land and air targets. The Challenger 2 is known for its excellent armored protection, which makes it a difficult target for the enemy. Since its introduction into service in 1998, this tank has taken part in combat operations, including in Iraq and the Balkans, gaining a reputation for reliability and effectiveness on the battlefield. The Challenger 2 tanks donated by the British are currently participating in the fighting in Ukraine.
