Chlorhexidine Digluconate 0.2% - Perio Plus FortePerio Plus Forte is a mouthwash with 0.2% chlorhexidine and Citrox®/P formula (200 ml), ideal for short-term use before and after dental procedures. Active Ingredients: Chlorhexidine 0.2%: Effective control of bacteria. Citrox®/P: Natural bitter orange extract with polylysine amino acids, providing long-lasting antibacterial action. Xylitol: Gives a pleasant taste, protects against tooth decay and strengthens teeth. VP/VA copolymers: They form an effective protective layer on the teeth, gums and oral mucosa. No alcohol.
CHX Plus Features
Chlorhexidine has been used by dentists for nearly 70 years because of its effectiveness. Perio Plus also contains natural bioflavonoids from bitter oranges, known as Citrox®.
Enhanced performance
Citrox® increases the antibacterial properties of chlorhexidine, which makes Perio Plus extremely effective.
Citrox®/P formula
Citrox® is a bioflavonoid from bitter oranges with strong antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal properties. To ensure its lasting effect and good adhesion, it has been combined with polylysine amino acids.
Pleasant taste
Perio Plus has a pleasant taste thanks to the Citrox® formula and special aromas developed by the taste experts at Givaudan. The product does not affect the sense of taste.
Minimizing discoloration
When using Perio Plus, avoid tobacco, coffee, tea, red wine, berries, curry and saffron to reduce the risk of hyperpigmentation. Brush your teeth thoroughly and consider using a whitening toothpaste.
Warning
Use Perio Plus or other chlorhexidine liquids only if recommended by your dentist. Under normal circumstances, the use of this product is not necessary, as toothbrushes and dental floss are sufficient for daily oral hygiene. Always follow your dentist's instructions.
