Do not delve too zealously into the secrets of the gods
The Pantheon expansion introduces ancient gods into the game 7 Wonders of the World: Duel. Now players can seek the favor of deities from five different cultural spheres and persuade them all to extend their protection over their city. Building a lavish temple in honor of your chosen patron or matron or dedicating one of the two new Wonders of the World available in the expansion is certain to help with this.
The ancient Greeks and Romans believed that the way to divine grace was to offer the gods something in return, to make a gift or a vow. The same is true in the Pantheon expansion - if you expect a favor from any god - you cannot remain indebted to them.
During Era I, you will collect Mythology tokens that allow you to choose which deity will inhabit the Pantheon, as well as Gift tokens that will earn you their favor. Later, in Era II and III, you can awaken a god or goddess in the Pantheon instead of drawing a card. If you provide the deity with what they require from you, you can place them next to your city.
Era III introduces another aspect of ancient religions - the ritual area. When playing in the Pantheon, instead of three Guild cards, three Great Temple cards are shuffled into the deck - each corresponding to a different Mediterranean culture. If the deity worshiped in that temple is favorably inclined towards you, you can build it for free. For instance, with the support of Isis, you can build an Egyptian temple, while the support of Enki will allow you to erect a Mesopotamian temple.
7 Wonders of the World: Duel is a two-player game with a simple mechanics that offers players many interesting choices while also having several paths to victory.
