The Banished Men are returning from the depths of the ocean!
Centuries ago, a secret society of powerful lords staged a failed coup. Many of them were sentenced to torture, but only ten survived the encounter with the moray eels. Stripped of their lordship titles and banished from the Abyss for eternity, they found refuge in the farthest depths of the ocean. No one knows how they managed to survive and prolong their lives in such horrible conditions. Perhaps they have adapted to life over time, drawing strength from the monsters of the deep Now the exiles - former lords who dwelt in the deep - are coming to reclaim what was once theirs.
Abyss: De profundis is an expansion that introduces 10 exile cards with interesting effects. They are not lords in the sense that they are not referred to by the term "lord" on cards and tiles, but just like lords, they appear in the courtyard ready to be recruited and count towards the game's end-of-game condition. In addition, recruiting them gives you a chance to take places from other players, which adds an extra touch of interaction to the game. 
What is Abyss?
It is a strategic game in which we try to take control of key areas of an underwater city. To achieve this, we need to grow gradually. At the beginning, he waits to gather allies from five allied races, represented by cards of different colors. Getting the right combination allows you to recruit lords - influential guild representatives with special abilities. They will give us access to further areas of the city, thanks to which we will increase the number of victory points earned.
