Buried Secrets is a large expansion for Aeons End, Aeons End: Legacy, and Aeons End: The Eternal War. In the box, you will find over 150 cards, including new Gem, Artifact, Modifier, Spell, and Nemesis cards, as well as innovative tokens for Impulses, Silence, and Shields that will significantly change the gameplay, revealing new possibilities for Aeons End. Depending on the base game, you will introduce previously unknown mechanics (Aeons End, Aeons End: The Eternal War) or deepen your understanding of ones you already know (Aeons End: Legacy). Dirty play The buried secrets are buried for a specific reason – no one should dig them up. But when the enemy uses all methods to destroy us, we must repay him in kind. Gravehold is once again threatened, and this time there is no room for half-measures. You are more powerful In Buried Secrets, you will use 45 previously unknown Spell cards, utilize 25 Artifact cards, and strengthen yourself with 56 Gem cards. By playing Psychic Explosion, you will deal the enemy as much damage as there are cards discarded on the discard pile of any player. On the other hand, by using Fragment of the Past, you will gain 3 ether charges, and if there are at least 7 cards in your discard pile, you will gain up to 4 charges. but so are the enemies In the expansion, you will face 9 new Minions. Some of them enter the game with Shield tokens on their cards. When such a Minion is attacked, remove 1 Shield token from its card regardless of the damage dealt. And if you want to make your life even harder, shuffle a new Flash card into the Nemesis turn deck. When this card is drawn, resolve the main phase of the Nemesis turn, then resolve the entire Nemesis turn normally. Impulses and Silences In Buried Secrets, you will silence hostile Minions and harness the power of powerful impulses. When the action of a given spell silences a Minion, place a Silence token on it. In the next turn of Nemesis, you will ignore the PERMANENT effect of this Minion. On the other hand, Impulses are used by some Mages to enhance their actions. At any moment, a player cannot have more than 5 Impulses. Impulse tokens carry over from turn to turn.
