Expansion for the game K2
An avalanche is approaching!
Avalanche is an expansion to the Spiel Des Jahres nominated game K2 by Adam Kałuża.
Draw two avalanche tiles instead of two random weather tiles. The avalanche tiles are resolved just like the other weather cards during the acclimatization phase.
The avalanche is resolved always from the bottom to the top. If the player’s climber is at the height where the avalanche passes, they must confront its effects. If they have taken shelter in the tent, they lose one acclimatization point, if they remain exposed, they lose acclimatization and are moved one space down.
Note! After passing the avalanche, it may happen that there are more climbers on the space than is allowed. Such a situation is permissible.
