- New expedition following in Darwin’s footsteps - the expansion Expedition Darwin: Tierra del Fuego includes a new map that, along with new tiles, introduces an alternative board layout to the game. The box also holds land and sea Adventures, Time Track, and other mechanisms that enhance standard gameplay. The expansion's scenarios are specifically designed to guide players toward specific challenges and aspects of the game mechanics.
- New Board - the board from the expansion covers the Island and Ocean from the base game and, along with the new Action tiles, provides a new experience of the "Expedition" mechanics.
- 4 scenarios - instead of randomly setting up component sets before the game, use scenario cards that will steer gameplay in a particular direction.
- Increase variety - new Mission tiles from HMS Beagle, Correspondence Rewards, Special Action tiles, Crew cards, etc. expand the pool of these elements from the base box.
- Advanced solo mode - the single player variant in the expansion is more complex than its counterpart in the base game - for experienced players only!
