A non-banal duel of two minds. Take control of your opponent's stacks, create bridges and paths to achieve strategic goals, and most importantly, act in such a way as to finish the game with as many points as possible! Cosmoludo: Hokito is an abstract logic game for two players, in which we move pieces on the board to create and take over the most profitable stacks. Each game is a completely new challenge, the difficulty of which fully depends on the advancement of the participants. How does it work? - In Hokito, we play on a board made up of 36 squares. At the very beginning, each player randomly places their pieces, filling 3 rows on their side of the board. - Participants take turns playing their turns, in which they move their own pieces or stacks they control (that is, those with their piece on top). - If a player decides to move a single piece, they must end the move on another single piece, and if with a stack - on another stack. - The game features pieces in three types marked from 1 to 3. The value of the piece indicates how many jumps we will make with it or with the stack underneath when we decide to move it. 1 is a single jump, 2 is exactly two jumps, etc. - A jump is made to the first occupied square in the chosen direction, in a straight line. The number of empty squares crossed on the way doesn't matter. The direction can only be changed between jumps, and the path of the piece's movement in one turn cannot cross. - This way we play until one participant can no longer make a move, and then we count the points. Single pieces are worth as much as their value marking. Stacks controlled by the player give a result of the value of the top piece multiplied by the number of tokens in the stack. Why will you love this game? - It's a real treat for all fans of abstract logic games like chess, checkers, or go. - The abundance of available options, especially at the beginning of the game, makes the situation on the board extremely changeable, and the opponent can always surprise us with a very clever move. - Thanks to simple rules, you will quickly explain the game to new people, and the neutral atmosphere will allow representatives of different generations to come together at a common table. - Abstract challenges work great for both kids, to support the development of logical thinking and predicting the opponent's moves, and for adults and seniors as a prevention of memory disorders.
