Neuroshima HEX 3.0: Iron Gang
The roar of engines breaks the silence of the night. Clouds of dust approach you, stirred up by hundreds of hot tires. Chains clank loudly across the cracked road.
Behind them run heavily armored warriors, wielding rusty clubs, hammers, and net launchers.
First, those first ones will drive you into a dead end like a flock of sheep, and then those second ones will catch you and rip you to shreds. Even if you manage to defeat one of them, several more will immediately jump in to take their place.
Death races towards you. You can try to escape, but sooner or later you will fall into their traps. These are not ordinary gangsters; they are hunters who have perfected the art of hunting from an iron steed.
Rules of the IRON GANG army
Both the headquarters and certain units of the army have the Chain feature, which can be activated outside of battle. The Chain stretches between two tokens placed in a straight line, allowing their attacks to hit any unit on that line.
This makes the positioning of the headquarters extremely important; you want to weave as many nets as possible, or perhaps use it defensively, like a spider luring its prey into its web?
Chains on motorcycles
One of the more interesting units of the army is the stick on a motorcycle, which not only has armor, movement, and Chain, but is also treated as a module that increases the initiative of its neighbors.
Chains and nets
A special ability of this army is also the capacity to fire long-range nets. A special sniper unit is equipped with a feature that not only allows networking one opponent per turn but also within range. The problem is that it is not a particularly durable net. With pulling and cutting, one can free themselves from it quite easily; this temporary net always disappears after the battle.
But that is not the only trait of this net sniper. He is a true team player, as he supports his teammates like a medic, but he does not need to stand next to the protected unit. In short, he is a medic with range across the entire board.
Chain reaction
Another interesting addition is a fanatic warrior who has a fast attack directed only in one direction, but when he dies, he can explode like a Clown.
Besides that, the army is also equipped with Double Movement on an immediate token. Nothing else can be expected from a gang of aggressive road knights.
