North American P-51D Mustang
Model kit for assembly with assembly instructions. To make a complete model, paints and glue are necessary.
The North American P51 Mustang is considered one of the iconic American fighters of World War II. Designed to RAF specifications, the Mustang was converted after the installation of the Rolls Royce Merlin engine.
Its long range and excellent firepower made it an excellent escort fighter, capable of protecting bombers all the way to Berlin and back. After the war, the P51 served in Korea and was used by some air forces until the early 1980s.
