LAN 42 MULTI is a compact portable CB radio with quick adaptation capability in a vehicle. The current version allows for easy frequency range switching to one of several European CB standards. Frequency synthesis is performed via a PLL phase loop, and power consumption is minimized by an automatic battery-saving system. A large, multifunctional backlit display shows information about the device's operating parameters. An external, optional microphone-speaker that enhances operating comfort can be connected to the accessory socket.
