The parking sensor is a device that aids in the parking and reversing of a car. It works on the principle of sonar - emitting ultrasonic waves that, after reflecting off an obstacle, allow it to determine the distance between the car and the obstacle. While reversing, the device correctly identifies obstacles in the vehicle's path and warns the driver with a sound signal. New sensors are installed on the inner side of the bumper and do not protrude beyond its outline. Their small size makes them very attractive. The sensors can be painted. It is recommended to apply a maximum of two thin, even layers of paint. The LED display indicates the distance to the obstacle with an accuracy of up to tenths of a meter. It also features a built-in speaker (buzzer) that alerts with the option of complete silence using a switch on the housing.
