The game consists of players arranging their tokens on the board in such a way that tokens of the same color, which touch each other on at least one side, create the largest possible area. Each player is assigned one color of tokens. The game begins with one player placing their token in any location on the board, and then the second player adds their token so that it borders the first opponent's token on at least one side. Then players take turns placing their tokens until the entire board is filled, trying to create the largest area of adjacent tokens of their own color. When placing tokens, the rule is maintained that the added token must border at least one side with any token already on the board. A move is considered invalid if it involves adding a token that only touches another token at a corner. It is permissible to arrange several unconnected fields, but only those fields consisting of at least 5 tokens are counted for the final scoring. The game ends after filling all the fields on the board and placing all tokens. NOTE: During the game, if either player arranges a sequence of 5 tokens horizontally or vertically, the game ends with that player’s victory.
