▶ How to do it?
First of all, measure the width of the vessel in which the candle will be cast. The even burning of the candle largely depends on the wick - in the case of those with a metal plate, we distinguish wicks with different thread weaves. Each weave corresponds to vessels of different widths.
The plates allow you to properly stabilize the wick in the vessel in which the candle will be cast (e.g. in glass candlesticks, molds or tubes) so that it does not move. In addition, wicks with a plate can be additionally attached to the vessel with special wick tapes or stabilizing sticks.
