The operating principle of the symmetrical electric latch OR-EZ-4036 is the opposite of that of a standard electric latch, i.e., continuous voltage supply causes the latch to lock. The latch is equipped with a LOW CURRENT coil with a wide voltage range, drawing 280mA for 12V DC and 250mA for 12V AC.
