The bulb is intended for original xenon headlights that require D3S bulbs (xenon headlights with a lens). It does not require any modifications to the installation. It has a perfectly set focal point and a voltage plug characteristic of the D3S bulb. It can only be used with a D3S xenon ballast. These bulbs have an integrated igniter.
