The new rapid test for private use is now available as a self-test for the novel coronavirus and mutations.
The Corona rapid test has been approved by the BfArM under the file number AT282/21 for private use. The antigen test is thus one of the few that is also listed and approved by the Paul Ehrlich Institute (PEI) and RKI.
With the antigen test kit, the patient's own sample is taken from the anterior nasal area painlessly. After about 15 minutes, you will receive a direct and reliable result as to whether you have tested positive or negative for the coronavirus.
The coronavirus layman's test contains all the necessary accessories for a single application.
The application is very easy and completely safe. Compared to other rapid tests, the Hotgen Kit does not require a work step, as the test liquid is already delivered in the vial. This also makes self-application much easier, especially for children and adolescents.
