The METAL GUARD Engine CLP is an unparalleled protection for the moving metal parts of the engine. By using the most advanced and non-corrosive advanced oil film technology, it protects moving metal parts from wear and damage during their operation. Under normal conditions, without the use of the Metal Guard Engine CLP, metal-to-metal friction occurs in dry start-ups and consequently sudden engine shutdown (the start-stop function popular in cars). The use of Metal Guard Engine CLP provides fuel savings benefits through reduced friction and increased oil flow, reduced downtime, extended engine component life and lower operating temperatures.

REMARK

Lubricants are a mixture of different chemicals, and mixing different brands can cause adverse cross-effects between them. For best results, flush the engine (with commercially available flushes) every time you change the brand of oil. For the best performance and return on investment, we recommend avoiding the use of Ultimate Metal Guard products with lubricants containing esters, glycol, ether, phosphate, VME, phenyl/phenol, silicate and boron oxide. Keywords to look for in the safety data sheet or product description/technical sheet: Synthetic glycol esters - alkanolamine, polyol glycols; Synthetic Organic Esters – Vegetable methyl esters; Phosphate esters - butylated triphenol phosphate, trisecyl phosphate, tricresyl phosphate; Silicone oils - methylsilicone, phenylmethylsilicone, silicate ester/disiloxane; Synthetic ether - polyphenyl ether, chlorinated diphenyl ether, perfluorinated polyether. We do not recommend Ultimate Metal Guard for Toyota oil produced by Exxon Mobil.
