Straps 500 daN, or ERGO straps, differ from the standard strap with tensioner 50 mm in size and construction of the tensioner. A larger, more durable tensioner with a longer lever allows for better belt tension parameters, which translates to a stronger pressing of the load to the ground, and thus more effective immobilization. The longer lever and stronger tensioner allow, using the same force, to tension the strap more tightly than in standard straps. The value of 500 daN means that the load will be pressed to the ground with a force of 500 daN or 500 kg. The STF parameter value of standard 50 mm tensioners ranges from 300 to 400 daN (depending on the manufacturer).
